This is a Turbo or Turbo S? The 970.1 Turbos are rated at 493hp@6000rpm and 516ft-lb@2250-4500rpm. I know Porsche underrates, but this is a lot more than I thought!

I wonder if the high torque number is from overboost? That's just so much higher than I expected for torque.

In light of failure to follow-up by the OP, I’m calling BS on this

I'm having my plenum powder coated, should be ready today, and my parts will be delivered from Germany Friday. Hoping to have lift available to install DPs and res delete. Will need a day or to for FVD to build my tune map and then I will upload into car and hit dyno. Things take time buddy, I also work 60 hour weeks so it's not at my leisure...

I would not delete the resonator if you value your sanity when cruising at highway speeds. When combined with DPs the cabin reverberation is annoying. I'm running down-pipes with Akrapovic gen.2 and it's AWESOME but there is slight hum over 80mph. If the resonator (part of Akra) was not there it would be a different story.

I know everyone's sound sensistivity if different and I like exhaust on the louder side - but I would never rid a system of its ability to knock down drone.

Parts already ordered and arrived here, If it is unbearable for my personal liking, I guess I will sell and replace. Will keep thread updated.

Nice. Take care when installing down-pipes - turbo studs are not friendly to removal.

So I've heard, going to spray with rust penetrator and let sit for a while prior to attempting removal

Good idea. I bought a few extra with nuts and I used them all. 2 ended up breaking - 1 turbine housing had to get tapped. Try NOT to use power tools, twisty socket and extensions can be a blessing.
