I see this module is still available on AliExpress. I’d love to have hatch closing functionality from the FOB! @FIRST_PORSCHE are you still around to help with install questions for those of us that might pull the trigger?
hi I've had mine installed for years and no issues at all... works everytime.

I also installed my dashcam today, integrated with the trim in front of the rearview mirror and a second camera on the rear window. The dome light and overhead console is a pain to remove and to reinstall but I got it all done in a couple of hours. I routed the cable for the rear cam through the headliner at the windscreen, down the a pillar, out to the rubber weather seal in the door, back in along the seam under the seatbelt height adjustment, along the rear door weather seal and again under the trim beside the rear headrest and into the upper weather seal on the tailgate. It's very neat with the only visible wire being a bit of slack between the camera and the weather seal on the tailgate. It's a FitcamX model. Looks good so far from the little test footage I've checked on my phone.
I'm glad to hear it's working now! That dash cam sounds like something i might do too... thx for posting an update

hi i've this module to close tailgate. I've buying it to aliexpress.
When i close my car the exterior mirror close too and when i put the contact they open.
All windows close too when i lock car. But if i don't want close the windows with i use my remote i push 6 time on unlock with drvier door open and the windows don't close when i lock car. Very good function. If i want close all windows i push 6 time on unlock button with driver door open

I liked the dash cam because of how it is pretty incognito and it's possible to have the wires pretty much completely hidden (the only place you'll see it is at the rear camera if you go for that option). I got this one: FitcamX for Panamera

I got some footage of a van cutting me off today, I only rendered it in 1080 but the front camera is 4k.

I was a little distracted as I was skipping through a podcast using the multifunction button on the steering wheel. I didn't see the van indicating, but no excuse for him to just pull in to the lane I was in.

I wouldn't normally listen to podcasts in the car but since I installed the camera my FM reception is terrible. I'm guessing the interference may be from the rear camera mounted to the rear screen. Is the aerial in the rear glass? If not that I may have unplugged something in the tailgate by accident, if anyone has any suggestions please let me know! I'm going to try playing around with the placement of the rear camera first anyway.

Thank you! I’ll probably pull the trigger and order. No longer available on Amazon so will order from AliExpress. I’ll reach out if any install issues. Thanks again!

Hey @Marc13190! Just to confirm, when you press the “lock” button on the FOB your car locks and the sideview mirrors immediately fold?

Also, how did you find out about all these “extra” functions (eg. push button 6 times…)? Does it come with instructions explaining all these things?

Thanks!
