Need to replace the brakes and rotors on a new to me 2014 Panamera 4S. I have read through many threads and still don't see a clear winner on alternatives to Porsche. As such I appreciate the any recommendations on brakes and rotors you have used. Also, based on my reading:
Zimmerman seems to be the leading rotor on the forum - I have panny sport wheels with a chrome lip and am concerned that the Zimmerman muted grey zinc coating will ruin the aesthetics - am I correct that they stay this color even once the brakes are bedded?
Do Sebro rotors also have an anti-corrosion coating? If so, is it as good as the Zimmerman?
I read that Hawk yellow ceramic brake pads don't fit with OEM sensors out of the box - is this correct?
I just did the front rotors and pads on my '14 4S earlier this month.
I opted for the Zimmerman coated rotors and OEM type brake pads. Purchased from Pelican Parts.
The area that the pads cover wipes clean of the coating fairly quickly. Actually mentioned in the paperwork that braking efficiency will not be 100% until the coating is worn away in the contact area,
I had a second order for the balance of the materials
1. Should have ordered 2 of the hardware kits. (my mistake)
2. 2 brake pad sensors (both cracked when trying to remove -- they are not expensive)
3. Ordered 4 new caliper bolts.
I placed a second order for the balance of the parts.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
Hawk yellow pads DO WORK with OEM sensors. I installed a set on the front and rear of my 2011 Turbo with zero issues.
