Oil change
#6
Including oil filter (Mahle from Amazon), my DIY oil changes cost me about 60$. All of my Porsches get new fluids every single year, no exceptions.
The Panamera is the only one in my fleet that 'burns' oil. Not concerned about it since it seems to be normal for the V8 engine.

I like to use one brand/type of oil for my cars and motorcycles. Does Mobil 1 meet the JASO/MA/MA2 motorcycle oil requirements for wet clutches?

Walmart sells the Mobil 1 0W40 at 24$ a gallon, I wouldn't call that overpriced....

Here's a rebate on Mobil 1, for Walmart it has been working in the past. So approximately $14 plus tax for 5 quarts. (I know Oregon has no sales tax. Around here it's around 10%). $28 for 10 quarts, enough for the Panamera!

I'm never mixing again. I suffered a lot mixing Pennzoil Platinum Euro and Mobil 1! Your experience may be different. I'm not an oil chemist....

Many years ago, no no no (like, 30 years or so).
today, oil technology very advanced and mixing is not terrible. Most dont mix but if you're low, get what you can and top up. Its ok.
