Introduction + PSE valve troubleshooting
Hi all!
First of all my introduction. I am from The Netherlands and bought my first Porsche last week. Before purchase I have done a LOT of reading on this and other forums to understand the Panamera and how to DIY troubleshoot a lot of things.
After an long search I have found my Panamera 970 V8 non turbo fully serviced, full options and with air suspension in Germany.
I have just updated the current 20inch wheels to 22 inch wheels.
In the next months I will do the next upgrades:
- Resonator Delete replacement with H-Pipe
- Joyeauto Carplay module
- Smoke wrapping of rear lights
- Black wrapping of Window Trim
But I now found out that the PSE valve is not working, I think it is now permanently open.
Although I like the sound, I would like to have the PSE valve working again before I delete the Resonator.
I have already done some research on the PSE and the problem is likely the Change-over valve with (latest) PN 7PP906270 / 97011131253 or the Vacuum units / Pressure Actuators on the exhausts with (latest) PN 7PP253835 / 97011150900 / 97011150901.
After starting the car, push PSE button on and off there happens nothing to the actuators. They just don’t move a bit.
I also tested the InsaneGarage Exhaust mod but no differences after disconnecting the Vacuum line (LINK)
I will order an new Change-over valve to be sure, very cheap German manufactured part.
But then my actuators, they look not so good. One question here, should I be able to open and close the valves manually by hand at any time?
They seem to be stuck, I can’t turn them by hand.
Second question: Is there an cheap aftermarket actuator that fits? I have nothing found yet.
Thank you guys for any advice!
