The 82mm GT3RS or 2009 Cayenne Turbo S throttle body is a better choice

I ordered the 86 mm ported unit. NOT 78 MM.

So this is a 82mm ported to 86mm? Would be interested in results. Nice find for these cars are the after market is very limited!

Agreed .
I have the IPD plenum, FVD Brombacher exhaust & VRtune.
Should be nice once installed.

I know this is an older post, but any updates? I also purchased the Soler 82mm TB, but am having issues w/codes...

UPDATE: codes resolved... the charge tube was leaking under boost.

Just so we’re all on the same page what model Pana are you guys fitting the 82mm T.B onto? I just spoke with Soler and asked them about what size T.B can fit onto the PTT w/ IPD plenum and this was their response

“The right Throttle Body for your car will be the SE-114-080, 76mm (80mmEFF) Which I will also link. It will fit the IPD Plenum so no worries there.”

My car is a 2015 Turbo S and have the Fabspeed y-pipe, which I think has a 76mm OD. In any event, I successfully installed the larger 82mm Soler TB and used a 76mm to 83mm silicone adapter (3" to 3 1/4") and works great. Please note this adapter was also required in the original configuration, though the OEM TB was 76mm at the blade. The new Soler 82mm TB dimensionally is about the same OD, but bored internally resulting in the larger 82mm blade. Overall, this was a great mod and I can tell the improved throttle response... also, confirmed 0-60 improvements from 3.52 to 3.44... so, there's that. And now that I finally have new tires, hopeful those times will dip into the 3.2/3.3 range. Not hard on my car at all, but want to ensure it also performs.
(not my car below, but stock Fabspeed pix)...
