start stop mode deactivated error message

hello ive only driven my car about 2 times this past week for short journies and we are about 35 degrees F here. When I was driving back home after a few minutes I got a "Start/Stop mode deactivated" message on my screen. I hooked up my scanner when i got home and a code came up 000603 (State: Current / Load switch-off (eEm)

I am presuming this might be battery or coil related? I do have a Ctek charger that I can hook the vehicle up to but I just wanted to get some opinions if anyone had the same issue.

thank you.

]You need to use a Porsche-specific scanner (PORII or even better, PIWIS) to understand what the car is trying to say. Sounds like that's not the right scanner. Is the car actually showing a CEL?

Hey there I'm using the basic Porsche scan tool for 200 bucks that lets u scan codes and reset oil change light...I just had that start stop deactivated warning come on display and that was the only code that came up when I scanned for codes.

Had a similar issue and it was caused due to a voltage drop. I needed a new battery. Once installed I had no more issues.
