Usually the car horn chirps when locking the car. I noticed this first and wonder why it wasn't chirping, I thought maybe a faulty horn but discovered a particular door wasn't locking.
Just curious with anyone with the door actuator issue, if you've noticed that the horn no longer beep/chirps?

I've just been procrastinating on replacing the actuator.

Yes that's for the driver door. Double check that its the right plug. There may have been 2 different versions and 8 pin and a 9 pin. Even though I got mine installed its not 100%. I have to click unlock, lock, unlock on the remote in order for me to open the driver door. I don't get a chirp. Not a battery issue as I got a brand new battery installed for that same thought. If you read above I have issues with my front left (driver 's) and rear right (rear passenger's) doors not locking or locking. And no chirp. I have already given up.

Ok ill check to see if its 9 pin it 10 pin. Its supposed to be 9 pin for our cars correct?

I wonder if the different branded actuator is causing you issues...if you get the original Porsche branded actuator maybe it will work correctly? Or maybe some reset procedure is needed?

I don't know. It was pulled out of a Porsche so not sure about it being a different brand.

Never thought of a reset procedure. I will check and see if there is an option and if it works. Thanks for the suggestion.

Something just occurred to me about the 9 pin versus the 10 pin or if was previously mentioned already, it may be depending on if the Panamera has the Entry&Drive system?

So my plug has 9 pin (room for 10 but one not used. The others were 8 pin. I have manual entry. Have to click remote and stick key in ignition. Not sure if that helps.

Same thing on mine

I'm experiencing the same exact thing.
