I posted a thread some time ago about touring the Saleen factory in Irvine, and some of you expressed some interest. The folks at Saleen are game, but need to know how many will attend. The tour will be on a weekday (they are not open on weekends).

Who is interested?

 

If I know at least a month in advance I can plan for it since I'm driving back and forth between SF and PHX. Are you aiming for this to be on a friday?

 

I will try to pick a day of the week that people say is best. I am looking for suggestions since I'm really close to the site and getting there is not an issue. If it is a Friday afternoon, we could turn it into a meet that evening...

My wife and I are in, if we have enough notification in advance to make plans. Day of the week doesn't matter for us.

 

Tuesday or Thursday work - Friday traffic would be murder.

I'm in, did you ask if camera's were allowed?

 

A buddy of mine was looking at getting an s7 and got invited to the factory. He said it was really cool to see how the s7's are built. I am supposed to go back with him in the next few weeks but I doubt it because I helped him lean more towards the carrera GT

 

I've been to Saleen, and have a friend that works there. It is a cool place, and cameras are allowed in most areas as far as I remember. I was actually at one of the first unveilings of the S7 street car.
