Have them surface ground rather than cut on a lathe. No ridges to worry about even if slotted. Got mine done for $25 apiece (the shipping cost more...!!)

There are usually companies that will come on site and machine turn them in a mobile vehicle and do all 4 so you have no downtime or shipping costs. Ask your shop or other shops if they have that
