I went with the alcantara version to match the GTS interior

 

if my 958.1 cayenne has multi function steering wheel with push/pull paddles and no heating.

will the gpsadapter.us adapter be able to retrofit a new 958.2 steering wheel including heating and up/downshift paddles simply PNP?

 

Steering wheel heating need clock spring and steering wheel support heating function.If upgrade from none heating wheel to heated,please replace clock spring with heating supported(Your original spring clock heater socket no PINs),heating support active code and PIWIS active heating function needed also.

 

After 2 years of searching, finally I got this done. Thanks to that amazing adapter.

why you get Sport chrono wheel?

I checked same modules here, all works fine. So if someone need steering wheel upgrade on this side of Atlantic - ask me.

Shipped via DHL from China, arrived within 48h. Now waiting for the new steering wheel.

 

Oh man. Everytime this thread pops up it gets me going again. I still think my situation of trying to go from a NON multifunction, heated wheel with the stalk controls and thumb shifters to a new style, heated, multifunction wheel would be challenging. Need somebody smarter than me to do it!

 

Did you try to email gspadapter guys ? They are very helpful. I see no reason why it should not work for you.

 

you neeed adapter from "GPS" or others, steering, airbag, new spiral - eq new steering column electronic module, that s all.
All info for activation BC, heating, multifunction, cruise i can provide.
And piwis to replace control module you will need also.

 

In process of deciding if I'm keeping the GTS long term. Switch cars every 2 to 3 years and I've had this for 3. Still loving this thing though. If I decide to keep, this is a mod I will try soon. Think it will freshen the interior with the piece you touch the most! Looking at steering wheels on ebay right now.

 

What color do you need ? I have bought one brand new from the local supplier for $1200 (airbag included).

 

look on tequpment section of local dealer, all wheels for 991 and macan also. Probably you will get good price for GT leather or Carbon trim.

 

 

The new FL steering wheel is on. It took me one hour to replace it.

Everything works thanks to gps adapter.
