Spoiler Fault Control Above 75mph

Above 75mph, I get a Spoiler Fault Message in RED on the dash. Very annoying. Wont allow me to exit out of it or see any other data. Spoiler/Wing goes up and down just fine.

most likely you are slowly loosing oil from spoiler lift mechanism system, the spoiler still works but it does not go high en0f at speed over 75 ,

Porsche Cayenne

Do you still own your Porsche Cayenne. I’d love to buy your hard tire cover for your spare.

What's involved in replacing it? Just a simple switch out? I got the same warning/error for the first time today. Going to start monitoring it. My car is running an aftermarket wing though.

Last fall, I started getting error messages on spoiler lift - occasionally the spoiler would not retract unless I turned the car off and back on. One of the lift mechanisms had a very slight leak. Dealer repaired the mechanism for under $300 and provided 2 year warranty on the repair.

You should start by changing out the switches, refill the hydraulic system, replace all crush washers, bleed and the tighten all banjo fittings.

As I remember, the invoice was very general and just stated "repair" - I will look for the invoice when I get home tonight and see if there is additional info.
