Video New Feature: Embedded Video

you'll notice a new icon in the editor tool bar:

the icon will allow you to embed media from a variety of sites right inside your post.

using the following format:

PHP Code:
 [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkyeFA8bPeU[/media] 

Currently supported sites:
Google (google uk), Youtube (all local languages have been added), vsocial, ifilm, metacafe, currenttv, vimeo, sharkle, vidiac, myvideoDE, myspace, filecabi.net, stage6.divx.com, brightcove, revver.com,
liveleak.com, Sevenload, putfile, photobucket, gametrailers, spikedhumor, streetfire, yahoo, break, dailymotion, veoh, Mtv, Megavideo, Collegehumor, Apple Trailers, ESPN, Libero.


there is also an added post icon: to help users identify threads/post with videos in them.

I've had version 3.0 installed on my other board for quite some time....

I definitely like the update in 3.1 though

Maybe PassiveVid (free Vbulletin.org modification) is a suitable replacement?
