Anyone knows any touchless car wash in LA? Those that just use powerful sprayer and nothing else touch the car but the water itself.

Been lazy lately to self-wash the car and I do not want to bring it to carwash to get all the swirls!

 

I prefer the do-it-yourself car washes. I only use the soap spray and rinse settings for an allotted time of 4 minutes/$2.50. I've noticed the touchless washes always leaves wax residue wont spray off really dirty areas.

 

I see that you are in Irvine. Where can you find those do it yourself car wash there?

 

There's one on Edinger and Harvard. It's in the Jack in the Box plaza. I live around there, so it's pretty convenient. I have no idea about anywhere else. You could also pay $15-$20 for a machine sprayed but hand dried plus vacuum on Michelson and Culver by the gas station. Try yelping car washes around your area.

 

theres one at the Shell gas station in Torrance off of Crenshaw and Lomita Blvd.
Take from LAX take 405South Exit Crenshaw make a right, and take it 4 miles to Lomita

 

Is the at Edinger and Harvard ghetto??? Is there any car wash where you drive through but there is no machines but only powerful streams of water?? I tried yelping and googling but the results are mostly for hand car wash. Perhaps only the local knows.

I wonder how they would hold up to a cabriolet? It was recommended to me to hand wash only

 

If you use the touchless washes, make sure to put a coat of wax on your car afterward. The only way to clean a car without touching it, is to use very strong and harsh chemicals, which also end up stripping off your wax.
