I am looking for an air field within 1-2hrs of LA that can be rented out. I've been googling around but cant find much. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Los Alamitos airforce base was rented out before. I would try there.

 

The old El Toro marine base has some kind of track and events going on all the time maybe check with them.

 

Thanks guys, I've looked into both avenues. Los Alamitos won't let people use the actual airstrip for runs . El Toro has a speed limit and won't let high speed runs happen either . Guess I might have to look out further.

yes it did, it was entitled Runway Titans. I was invited but couldn't make it out that day. it was at Mojave Airport i believe
