They also told me the motor would still be assembled by 3-18.
All I can say is "Wait and see.
Rob @ S Car Go Racing informed me today that he expects the parts back from Todd @ Protomotive this Friday.
It looks like the body is being shipped to Cary @ ERP in about two weeks for the wide body/track and ERP front uprights.

VRAlexander................. It looks like we are going to need the extra room provided by the wide fenders/track for the GT4294's. I know this is going to break your heart.

...Your money is collecting interest as you read this....after I take her for a shakedown run you might just get a call from my accountant asking for wire info for a very LARGE transfer or if you prefer I can have a plane pick you up from San Jose and bring you to Vegas for an all cash payout!!!! (and no this is not a joke)
Congrats on the progress...I put aside a 1971 1.5liter bottle of Chateau Petrus Pomerol that we will drink when she breaths life!
Alex,
I like your style....
Chad,
I think drinking the Bordeaux beats slamming a champagne bottle against her front fender, don't you think? You might be able to talk Alex into helping to organize an inauguration party....

She is really coming along nicely. While Rob and Todd are taking care of the power side she is going down South to ERP for additional suspension and body work. You already know about the wide body mods. In addition we will be installing modified GT3RS front uprights and the sway bars and JRZ's will be modified to adjust from the drivers seat on the fly.
I'm thinking of entering her in the Super Time Attack unlimited class. The Holy Grail is about complete.
The Petrus sounds very nice. Haven't had any of that for awhile.

I spoke with Rob @ S Car Go Racing this afternoon. The parts are being returned from Todd @ Protomotive to S Car Go Racing today.
S Car Go won't start assembing until after April 1 (No April Fools). They have a couple of racing motors that need to be assembled asap. I told Rob to finish the motors and then get on mine. Completion of motor assembly now looks like the middle of April.

Actually, I want a clear mind, without being rushed, when this motor is assembled. They rushed one the other day and it is one of the motors now being rebuilt at their cost. Even if they pay for it, I don't want to have to go through the delay of getting parts again. We are having the Garrett Engineer's making a recommendation regarding the turbo's.
