Saw this one this morning in Irvine. He is selling now at www.bearjam.com and www.bhrific.com. The mods are crazy.

I'm jealous of your .:R!! you should check out my first post, I have a pretty detailed thread of my 91 Golf VR6 Turbo, also had a MKIV Jetta 1.8t with a K04 and an O2M 6speed swap . Nothing near as gorgeous as the New R's but she did her duty.

you on vortex?

He did a really good job on the work he put into that VW.
But nothing could get me or possess me to EVER drive that car.

Excellent observation. I can't imagine any forum being collectively stupider than the MkIV guys/kids. At least the .:R forum is a little more track and tech oriented. I'm Boosted18T, FWIW.

couldn't agree with you more, I started w/ a MKIII 2.0 Jetta but quickly became the expert on suspension work and Euro front ends on MKIII's back in the day, I rarely go back to vortex except when I get home sick for my Jetta and go looking to buy another one

Fitting my first post on this forum is about vw's and the vortex, I agree with you both about your opinions on the vortex, had some "battles" on there about my 16vT GTI, I now peruse this forums since I work at a VW/Porsche dealership and get to sample all of what both companies have to offer!!
