Really nice.
How does it ride?
I was considering that W12 until I saw the new A8L on the road.

This makes me consider the phaeton all over again
Very clean, congrats.

The car is fabulous! Really, really smooth - I like to think of it as a vault. It's an EXTREMELY well built and solid car. I really wouldn't trade it for anything in the same category. I looked at all of the sedans (LS, S class, 7 series, A8 etc etc) and this is just something that you won't find next to you at a stoplight as often as you will with the others. In my area, I have seen about 10 others. The uniqueness was really a key factor for me.

There is tons of tech stuff on this car. If you want to investigte more, check out vwvortex.com and go to the Phaeton section - a VERY helpful place with any/everything you would want to know - plus more lol. Please let me know if I can help out with any further questions.

Yes, resale does suck, I won't mislead you on that. I actually love the fact that it has the VW badge on the front. It's silly to me why people do rationalize that way though - deciding to opt out because it's a VW. Actually, this car has alot of parts that come from the same bin as the Bentley Continental GT and Flying Spur.

God I love Phaetons! Congratulations on that beauty. Its a shame so many people are badge snobs, they are missing out on one hell of a luxury car.

I could never figure out how despite it's wonderful reviews this car never took off. I think they are gorgeous.

the interior is butter! my kids were sitting in the back seats and they were swallowed by the leather. someone who is 6'5 can stretch there legs out in the back seat with no problem.
