Question Alternator / Generator Replacement.

Ok Men does any one have any tips for alternator / generator replacement other than the OEM Manual??

Shouldn't be that bad. With the y-Pipe removed and belt removed, you can reach most everything. I do think there is a pretty good writeup posted online somewhere that I saw once. If you wanted, you could lower the rear motor mounts a couple inches to give a little more clearance, but probably not needed.

Auto electric places can usually rebuild them for pretty cheap...

Its not too bad, I recently had to replace mine with minimal tools, at someone else's house, when it crapped out the night before a week long roadtrip, not a great way to start! Just make sure you have a crowbar or something good to pry with, makes it 10x easier.
