Where to put another 911...

I have been struggling over this for awhile now. I am hell bent on adding another 911 to our home, and it would not be too far out for me to add a 356 356 as well. The only problem I have is where to put them.

I would really like some suggestions. Yes, the easiest way to fit more cars would be to just buy another home with more garage space. Well this is the hard part for me. i caould afford to buy another home but I dont want to. I bought this home from my folks a few years back. It is the home that I grew up in. It is located in a very old neighborhood that is picture perfect. I know all of my neighbors and have spent alot of time and money remodeling this home. I do not want to move, but I only have a one car garage.

I have a decent sized corner lot, and I have a couple ideas. I was thinking I could add a second story above my current garrage and possibly over the rear addition. By adding the second floor above the garage I could then be able to install a lift. Of course that would only be enough room for 2 cars.
I was also thinking about just building a sepperate garrage in my back corner of my lot.

My wife's SUV and my truck are parked on the driveway while my 911 is safe inside the garrage under car cover. I need some more room but do not want to look like a redneck.

If you seriously have suggestions I can post up some pictures of my house and lot to get a better idea.

Introduce your wife to the wonderful world of bus tickets and eBay her SUV away! And there you go!

I would ad the 2nd story, make the garage (if possible) go all the way though (double door) and ad a rear extra garage!!!

Sounds like a project my uncle did to his home a few years ago.....and it worked out nicely

I take it you cant fit a lift in the one car garage you have now?

Add a two car garage and on top of it make a terrace with direct access from the master bedroon so you can take your coffee outside in the morning. That's what I would do.

I think I have decided to build a stand alone 2 car garage in the back of my home. I will be checking with the county to see what I am allowed to build.
I will also post up some pics to maybe get some idea from you guys.

It will actually be cheaper to build the stand alone then it would be to go above my existing home. I would have to beef up the foundation to support another level. I can do all the work myself.

Ah, the thought of making my wife happy at the same time making myself happy. She will be able to use the main garage for her SUV, and put her noisy *** birds out there. then I get my space to have 2 P-cars and a decent size shop.
