The Highs and the Lows
My best guess is 85% of MSRP which puts you in the mid $140s. Dealers would likely give 80% (at most!) of MSRP and price the car in the $150s as a CPO. Let's face it you should be able to buy a new 2014 for at least 10% off at this time and that eliminates one layer of previous ownership and stories.
Also certain options-- PDK, PDCC, LED headlights, sunroof option(s)-- are more valuable than options like deviated stitching, extra painted areas, painted wheels, and leather bits which all seem over-priced. Hopefully there is a buyer who appreciates your exterior/interior color scheme and options.

These cars take a depreciation hit the day you purchase them. Check out cars.com and you will see Turbo S with very low mileage (less then 1000 mi) for $166K and that is before negotiations between the parties. So, as a guide I would take the $199K sticker Turbo S and subtract $35K which is approx an 18% hit off sticker. That would place your Turbo at $141K.
This is the last car you would want to buy for an investment. The 991 GT3 on the other hand may be considered an investment since guys I know have been paying over sticker for them used.

Which I don't get but to each his own. I hate alcantara and it doesn't even come with full leather, no way I would buy one of those cars at a premium.
I have been in a GT3 as a passenger and gone a distance. The owner put in some hard plastic racing seats that I didn't fit into and every bump jarred this 64 year old body. The noise was deafening and I was happy to get out after 100 mile round trip.
The TT is a totally different car in comparison. It is all about supply and demand and there appears to be a huge demand for GT3s vs TTs. Personally I cannot see it. My dealer has an allocation for good customers at MSRP and I passed without even considering it after seeing the TTS. I am not a track guy (maybe once a year for a driving event with the P Club) and cannot see how the GT3 would suit me as a DD. The TTS is the perfect all around car for me. Drives like a sedan in town at 35 mph and is a beast on the highway and I imagine its excellent on the track just a hair less nimble than the GT3. The best of all worlds in a 991 Turbo.

These guys on this thread are all going gaga over the GT3. I don't get it but to each his own.

WRS,
Maybe its old age, lol.
If I was 30 ish I may have an entirely different take on the GT3. But, when I was 30 I was driving Datsuns and Hondas, go figure.
I really liked my red 997 TT but this 991 TTS is light years ahead and now I am loving the PDK to the point that I will never get a MT again. And I can't believe I said that because for 47 years up till 2 weeks ago I never owned an automatic car as my personal DD.
Times change I guess.
Too bad there are not more Turbos in my area but I am the lone one so no fun runs anytime soon unfortunately.

Well I would sell the car sooner than later. Right now there is a brand new one at Bob Moore in OK for 146k being sold at clearance. It is red on tan, not the most desirable color combo. Considering there are only 17 2014 new Turbos in the country up on CARS.com there are not many to choose from. It is also the 991 body style. Most pre owned Turbo S cars are still mid 160's. I also did a search on Manheim auction, there have not been any sold to compare. I would list the car in mid 140's and be open to offers in low 140's. If someone wants entry in a 991 Turbo there is not one listed less than 145 and most are still holding at 155k at the dealers.
thanks for all the input ..... my dealer is offering me $140K as trade in or should i just consign the car ? i live in CA and there is only 1 14 991 turbo for sale in CA for $159K .....
Are you trading towards another car? If so the tax benefit could be worth just trading it in. If it were me and I wanted to unload my 14 Turbo with 3k on the clock I would sell it private party especially with limited availability. Best of luck with the sale. What are you onto next?
There is no tax benefit for a trade in CA.
