2015 tt

Hi,
So I have a 13 C2S, 7MT. Was looking to upgrade to a 2015 TT. Couple of questions. Do you get a percentage off an ordered car TT car? Is PDCC worth it? Also saw were it may not be possible to order any more 2015. I was looking at a CPO 2014 TT, well optioned car with 4k miles, but they were asking $149k, for a $163k sticker priced car.

JK996TT is infamous around these parts
My neighbor has a '14 TTS and was offered $150k on trade 2 weeks ago by 2 different dealers. The MSRP on his car was $190k. It had 1,200 miles at the time.

On the car you're considering...Doesn't seem like such a great deal to me since invoice on the car was around $146k. Then factor in 4k miles and the fact that the car is a year old. The dealer likely paid right around 130k for the car plus the cost of CPO (not sure what that process costs)

The residual is 3% higher on the Turbo versus Turbo S. I factored that into my estimate. First year depreciation is huge.

I would try finding a leftover '14 Turbo new and make an offer for 10% off MSRP. You'll pay a little more for a brand new car. Others have paid that...hope this helps.

They offered me CPO on mine for $4k, I declined, don't see the value.

I agree...CPO seems best at the end of the factory warranty if you're keeping the car far beyond. I leased mine so I can drive it and enjoy it. No concern for miles or anything else for that matter.

So did your buddy trade his car in? That is quite the depreciation with only 1200 miles.

BTW what is black interior like in Florida? We will soon be splitting your time between Boston/Naples and leaning towards a lighter interior. I lived in Ft Lauderdale for 6 years, summers were brutal on cars.

thx

He didn't...the hit was too big so he kept it.

As for the black interior, it's hot but I have learned to live with it. I don't like the lighter interior choices Porsche offers other than the agate/pebble combo. I think it's stunning, but will not hold up well on my daily driver. Black is safe..especially with my 10 year old playing travel soccer!

Depreciation in the first year is always the worst. Getting a new '14 or a pre-owned '14 with low miles will soften the blow.

I drove a '14 TT without PDCC and my new '15TT has PDCC. I am pleasantly surprised that it makes a clear difference. PDCC is better on rough roads (common in Boston) and does make the car corner flatter - I'm still in the break-in period and haven't pushed it and still can feel the difference. I'm glad I spent the money on PDCC over Burmester (which is wonderful but I can live with the Bose).

I went from a '13 C2S 7MT to a '15 TT last month. What a difference. . . . I got 5% off an ordered car, was a repeat customer at the dealer (2nd car in about 15-16 months). I've never had PDCC on any of my cars so I can't comment on it.
