My reply was "it looks like a cream-puff ".... why on earth would anyone other than you neg rep me for that!?

As a matter of fact why would you neg rep me for that... you asked "any guesses" my guess is was it looks like a cream-puff, by the laughing icon you can clearly tell I was joking (non offensive at that).

I do not get involved in these pissing contests anymore, waits of time.
Hence my lack of posts here, however I also do not go moaning about neg reps and certainly do not post quotes of said text (although it does show I made my point and that you know where it's coming from).

You wonder why people don't sign there neg rep comments... there's your answer!

It's hypocritical to say you don't neg rep anyone and then do the opposite behinds peoples back.

Oh yes you'll probably neg rep me for pointing that out as well... nice!

 

Again, I haven't neg repped anyone. The mods can confirm that. And for people to be stirring things up based on assumptions about who's giving neg reps is also obviously counterproductive. If someone is falsely posting neg reps in my name or anyone else's name, that's another story, and I hope the mods will address it.

Maybe it's time for mods to make it mandatory for people to sign their neg reps (automated) that way there's no confusion about who did what...

I will say it's strange that my rep count went down with that neg rep and yours... went up by 3 points immediately after, hmmmmmm very curious!

The GT-R is an amazing value and a bang for the buck. Look at the company it keeps with track times....

 

You're right that I solicited guesses on the meaning of my avatar. I didn't take 'cream puff' to be intended as a serious guess, but I ignored it and didn't post a response in the thread or a neg rep.

I see merit in the idea, but it would also make things more personal and could backfire. Best thing would be for people to reserve neg reps for serious violations of civility - maybe it would help for mods to provide some guidelines on how to use the rep point system.

Again, I never neg repped you. I got some positive reps because some people didn't think it was right for me to be falsely accused, so they decided to counter that (which I appreciate).

Also, I don't track my rep count closely. Having the green bars is good enough for me. It's not a popularity contest. I just don't like seeing a red dot when I click on my User CP.

 

When I test drove the GT-R, I must have said 'holy ****'! about ten times in half an hour. The car is rid-i-cu-lous. And that was the first generation GT-R. As an engineer myself, my hat is off to the engineers at Nissan.

And look at the effort by Lexus to compete with it. The LFA costs over $300K and still doesn't match the performance of the GT-R.

 

Look at the company the GT-R keeps acceleration wise... The 2 second club.

An hour clock is the ultimate tell all Sir BW...not post count. But where my post count is concerned, I spend min 3 to 4 months a year travelling...not under the pump, 6 has helped pass some idle time in certain circumstances, so whats your excuse?

And re your pissing contest....not interested. Those that know me know what I do and how I play so i don't feel the need to toss myself off on open forums about that. But it's nice to finally see you at least own a car. Am i impressed? Hardly.
