Interior Color

Does anyone have really good HD shots of red interior? Searching dealer inventory there are very few, and none close to me that have the red or blue interior. It's just so hard to tell using the Porsche builder. My first choice for exterior is white with either a black or red top. I'd also like the wheels to be black. Then put some white trim inside the car. Black interior always looks great but I was going to try to be a little out of the box this time if I could...

That looks fantastic. I really like the red. I am just worried it might be 'too much red' after a while. Do you feel that way with yours? I did note from the dealer that i can get black mats which will help break up some of the red and I also like the same steering wheel which also helps to break up some of the red. What I'd really like to see is an option to put in some black seat or door panel's or maybe a black dash. Its funny but I didn't expect it to be this hard to choose colors this time...

Thanks. I drive the car as a semi dd and i 'm not getting tired of. What can I say? I like red. I also ha e black mats for the wintertime, and I believe the 991 has more black on the center console than the 997. My car is also dressed up a bit with seat belts in silver and silver/gray contrast stitching. I love it, but if I had it to do over I might do contrast stitching in black, as currently I'm concerned that leather conditioners might darken the light stitching. Every time I get in the car the red reminds me of all I've had to endure to get where I am. Maybe not for everyone, but every time I get in I say "hell yeah" to myself.

Red is an attractive exterior color. I would avoid it as an interior color. Since you are going with white exterior, an out of the box color would be yachting blue, about the only exterior it goes with. You'll have a rare enough car with that combo.

White with a blue top and blue interior does look nice, kind of nautical.
Can't say I'm as crazy about a white coupe with blue int, mainly, I think, because Porsche's use of black plastic interior bits with white and red looks more natural than black bits with white and blue.

Yea I'm liking the blue less the more I see of it. Id still really like to see a red and blue example in person. Pictures seem to be a different shade in each pic. Might just have to make a road trip soon to the closest dealer with those colors to make a final decision. I just read over on rennlist that someone was able to get black inserts but I can't find that option anywhere, will have to ask that dealer.

I know the thread you're talking about. It wasn't through Porsche, but his dealer had a local liaison with a designer and a trim shop. He said they worked seamlessly together.

Well that would explain why I can't find it on the Porsche site.
