Well, getting rid of the 991. Great car, its been fun, definitely will miss it.... but Lamborghini has something I like a little better.... next Friday a new Aventador will be in my garage.

Cool! That's a big jump. I would have tried the gallardo first, but surely the aventador will be quite an event. Congrats!

Btw, how long did you have the 991 and how many miles did you put on it?

 

50k down, 6k a month. I'm gonna do this same lease on the Aventador when I'm done with my 991.

 

I thought Aventador was sold out, hence the waiting list. Unless you got a used one.

 

I had it since March and put 7,000 miles on it.

 

I'm not leasing... bought it.

 

There are still a few new one's floating around and there are orders that haven't been filled yet. Mine is new... someone ordered one and now doesn't want it for whatever reason. So... I'll just take his instead of waiting 18 months for a new order to be delivered. Its the colors I would have gotten anyways... black/black with red stitching and calipers; all options. I got it at sticker too so... had to jump on it.

I am sure if he can afford the Lambo he is not worried about the reliability. Different class of car all together. Don't shoot me guys I still love my 991 C2S.

 

You know a rocket sled is still faster but the main problem is getting circulation back into your eyes after the ride.

 

And you will be the only one on your block...er...town...er...county...er...state to have one! Ever!

 

Then again there is always the possibility of picking up some army surplus if you have a need for speed and it may get better mileage
