Hey guys, anyone change the pedals yet?

Just asking if anyone changed their pedals yet, I think some cool design in aluminum might look cool with my black leather brush aluminum, if so, where can I get some really nice ones and great quality, I used to have the AC Shnitzer ones on my M3 e92 and they provided better grip and look really nice, thanks guys

LOL I thinks that's a no.
I'm pretty sure they are slightly different from the previous generations so alum. pedals for those probably won't fit but I've only seen one place which has alum pedals for the 991 and they didn't look all that good...

I've changed mine. I actually used the Rennline 997 kit minus the dead pedal. Mainly for the heel/toe extensions and thy fit perfectly.

I've been thinking about doing the same and have found 3 suppliers so far:
http://www.rennline.com/, http://www.ultimatepedals.com/, and http://www.suncoastparts.com/.
All list them as being for the 991 so gotta believe they fit. Curious to see if anyone here has experience with any of these. I'm mainly interested in a set for track days, i.e. heel and toe.

I had a set of the ultimate pedals on my previous cayman s and liked them. With them installed the brake/clutch pedals were slightly further down and the accelerator pedal slightly higher, so when combined with a extension on the side of the accelerator pedal it made rev-match down shifting feel much better.

The pedal placement on modern Porsches has always felt a bit odd to me where as on BMWs they have always felt perfect. I guess my technique and foot size are just a better fit in the BMW. After adding the new pedals in the cayman it did feel much better and was ultimately no problem on the track.

Ultimate pedals

Really like these. Good grip even with wet shoes. Don't thin wouldn't work well if you wear leather sole shoes. I made template of 991 dead pedal for them and they made it. They now have the correct shape in their system. The brake and gas are the same as 997 ones.

Have Ultimate pedals on my 996 Turbo and no issue with leather shoes (I have the rounded rubber inserts rather than the flat inserts). Probably going that direction with my 991 also.

I did go in and find the Factory pedals. $720 in Canada. I can get the Ultimate pedals for less than half that so am going that route.

Yup. The 997 pedals fit the 991 fine. The dead pedal design is totally different. I've got some pedal pics of my car at http://www.gruppe991.com/index.php/t...oe-extensions/
