Getting Ready to Order

I think I am just about set with the car I have built just short of 1000 times. Went to a dealer today to build it on his computer so I could see more details and add the pricing for the deviated stitching. So any input would be great. Thanks

Nice build, but don't know if you need power steering.

I'd keep the power steering option. I got the chance to drive both before ordering and liked it while maneuvering at low speeds like turning sharply to get into a side entry garage.

You also should look at the steering wheel column in leather with the espresso option. It is an expensive option since you will also want to add the stitching to it but its worth it. You can see the difference on the 3d configuration that the steering column will be black and not leather if you don't pick this option. One of the prices you have to pay with full leather interior that's not black but worth it. Hope that helps.

all I can say is you will love the Anthracite Brown w/Espresso natural leather. It's a wonderful soothing and classic feeling being inside the car as well as outside. Im excited for you

Hey, I wish I had good news but I dont. My car has still not been ordered. The dealer that I have been working with to order this car said that he has been unable to get an allocation number to order my car and that Porsche is not giving many allocation numbers out right now for 2014 models. This doesnt make any sense to me and it is making me quit annoyed. Do you guys know anything about this??
Thanks

Not really, but since you are in LA, there are plenty of dealers to deal with... Beverly Hills, McKenna, Circle, etc.

For the amount you spend on deviating stitching, how about deviating exterior paint instead! PTS seems like much more bang for your hard earned $$$ IMHO

Why do you get more bang for your $$$? Don't get that.... Although, I like PTS of course.
Ordered mine also in PTS, but if I also have deviated stitching all over the interior. If I had to choose between them, I would always choose deviated stitching instead of PTS color. Normally, one spends more time in the interior than looking at the car and PTS is way more expensive than the deviated stitching.

So IMO you get more bang for the bucks with the deviated stitching. It makes the interior look much more expensive. PTS is just a color, like every other color, only not a standard color....

Or just get both like I did... that way you give your car a truly personal touch.

I would steer clear of Beverly Hills Porsche after reading this thread:

http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...-poor-car.html

They really hosed that guy on a CPO 997 that was in bad condition.
