Great pic! Great car!
I know this is the wrong forum, but could you share some photography tips covering how you put together the shot?

kitw can, I'm sure, answer this more completely, but to me it looks like this was done as a long exposure on a tripod along with some "light painting".

Light source looks to be LED like a light wand or a cell phone flash.

Haha, no this is in Foster City, CA where it was a nice and balmy 48 degrees last night.

Brianja is correct, this is a 30 second exposure, with an LED light used to "paint" the car. I love the effect, and it's pretty easy to do. Lots of good tutorials on the web.

This is the actual light I used:

Ah-ha! That source explains why it looked like two parallel light sources in spots. Thanks for the info.

I've wanted to give light painting a shot for a while now. I've been working mostly with two off-camera flashes for nighttime automotive photo work.

Beautiful shot! Where did you position the light source and how far from the car?
