Trapster vs Waze

I've using Waze for about a year and love it. Smoky location about 80% accurate. Anyone using Trapster, any preference.

I have used both, Waze is better. Has made the radar detector unnecessary in most areas for me.

+1 on Waze. Waze is even much better than the Escort app (more functionalities, more alerts...). Never use Waze for navigation though, it does not come anywhere near PCM or Google maps. Waze got acquired by Google a while ago, so the issue should be resolved eventually.

Another +1 on Waze. Use it around the NYC - Philadelphia - Wash D.C. corridor and very happy with it.

One more +1 for waze. I find it dynamically reroutes me based on changing traffic conditions which is really cool. Just yesterday I was in a largely Brazilian town in Massachusetts right after they won their game. Traffic was a complete stand still. After sitting there for 20 minutes I finally remembered waze and it took me thru a bunch of side streets and on my way home. PCM wanted to take me thru the center of town which was completely clogged. Waze gets me around traffic on a regular basis. If I could only figure out why it stops talking sometimes ...

Waze is excellent but i wish i could turn the alerts for radar proximity to ring no matter what my speed is, also to make it louder.

If I turn Bluetooth on, Waze will stop talking to me too.

Is there a way to have announcements for the police only. I don't care for road hazards or traffic reports.

This is part of the settings on Waze. Give a try to the app, you will not regret it. Road hazards and traffic reports are useful though. It came handy a few times when there were debris in the middle of the highway and I got an alert one mile ahead.

I get annoyed when people report every car that is pulled over on the side of the road.
