Broken Key...

My remote key had been acting up over the last couple of weeks. By acting up I mean not unlocking when I press unlock. Last night I was trying to unlock my car after dinner and it wouldn't work. Luckily the frunk button worked, which unlocked the car. What happens in a situation where the key fully dies or breaks? There are no key holes to manually unlock the doors. Am I missing something?

1) I would assume you have two keys? Do both do the same thing?
2) THere is a mechanical key in your keyfob that comes out. You can insert it in the keyhole that is available on the drivers door when you lift the handle..

3) Key battery?

Before you contact your dealer try it after switching out the battery.

Lift up the drivers side door handle.
There you'll see the keyhole into which your key goes (The key is located inside your fob).
Slide the little tab on your fob to release the key.

Instructions are also in your user manual.

Good to know. I'll talk to my dealer about swapping the key.
