Talk about limited market
Ha!
I was surprised to hear from my Dallas sales guy that they have sold 18 and Fort Worth has sold 3.
More than I thought for just these 2 Texas dealers, and I would be surprised if Plano (close to Dallas's volume) hasn't sold a handfull but haven't asked.

Looks like Jerry Seinfeld just received his 918, and it needs them. Don't you think?
Call us Jerry, we will hook you up! HAHA

At $659 dollars I may start by purchasing these and work my way towards the car.

It is a beauty and if he can afford it (with or without clear side markers - I hope he buys them from SunCoast - I am just about $800,000 short) god bless him.
I can't imagine owning this. I would be scared to drive it, scared to park it, scared to give it to a valet, scared to take my eyes off it. I have no such concerns with the side markers
!

It's all relative. A lot of people think the same thing dreaming about owning a 911 too ....
This was Geico's quote for me (6 month premium):
Your current premium is $1,009.90. If you complete the change, your new premium would be $9,699.60. The actual premium may differ from the quoted premium based on the vehicle identification number (VIN) and effective date of the change.
Please note that we have not included Mechanical Breakdown Insurance in this quote because the 2014 Porsche 918 does not qualify due to the value of this vehicle.
Note it doesn't include MBI insurance.

My record is preetty clean. Think it comes down to age and location. Late 30s, single, living in downtown San Francisco. But I probably should check around to see if there are better deals.
