Unusal features

Pushed seat vent instead of seat heater yesterday and discovered that it will not work if the seats are cold. Looked in the Service Information book and read that they don't work below 59 degrees

Really. I used the seat ventilation on the day I picked my GTS up and it was around -10C (say 15F). This was after the car warmed up mind you... I was sitting in traffic with a wool coat on and the ventilation worked great at cooling me off.

Does the book specify if this is external temp or internal temp?

Temp at the seat. Not outside of car.
