i have the awe switchpath. i figured since my exhaust will be changed, might as well change the headers/cats as well. thoughts? I'm more interested in sound than performance gains.

I just added sport headers and 200 cell cats to my AWE

It sounds like a race car full stop!! I will do a full review over the coming days. See the video on the Dyno after adding the sport headers.

 

I just installed the AWE and Fabspeed race headers. Loud doesn't begin to describe it. Sound is incredible.

 

I saw videos on YouTube from someone named Tim. The thing sounds like a cup car! Do you get cel?

It really does, it is incredibly loud but sounds amazing. Have to be careful not to get pulled over for the noise

I have not had any CEL yet but Tim told me that he got it about 30-40% of the time with this setup even though it has the O2 extenders. I bought the race headers from him. Cobb told me that their tune should take care of the CEL.

 

Let us know about that Cobb tune. I'm torn between Cobb and giac

 

No CEL here. I drove 300 miles without a single issue but down and upshifts are scary...

 

do you have the o2 spacers? i just bought the fabspeed headers/cats from dave in dallas and it looks like it doesn't come with o2 spacers.

 

Does Cobb have a stage 2 tune (ie with headers) for the GTS yet?

 

You reuse your stock O2 sensors with the 200 cell cats. For race headers I don't know.
