diff between a TT and a TTS
diff between a TT and a TTS
hey guys, just procrastinating looking all over the place for 993 pics and making one huge folder
BUT let's get technical, what are the differences between the turbo and the turbo S?
just curious

Off the top of my head...
Exterior:
deeper front chin spoiler, integrated brake ducts with fog lights, yellow calipers, intake in rear fenders, quad exhaust tips, dual-plane wing with intakes at corners, turboS badge on decklid and wheel centercaps.
Interior:
extensive carbon fiber package with "turboS" on glove compartment cover and loaded (I mean LOADED) with exclusive options, leather covering practically everything.
Other notables:
-carbon fiber front strut tower bar
-extra front oil cooler
-engine hp increased by 24bhp

did the intake in the rear fender come on the 'regular' turbo in any of its years? probably nearing the end?
i'm sure i've seen a few twin turbos which weren't an S-version with the intake, any ideas?
- they didn't have the wing, the calipers, the carbon fibre interior.. just the intake -

Actually, intakes were an option. A friend of mine had intakes on his 993 turbo as well as the aerokit.

that makes sense Khalid, we know how guys in the gulf just LOVE a 'full option' car
i saw the exact same intake on a 996 by the way, it was a carrera (2) but a widebody .. i wasn't close with the guy so i never asked him where he got it, my best guess would be a body shop in kuwait that can even "mold" the GT3 kit and a couple of TechArt and RUF wings/sideskirts/bumpers
doesn't look all that well IMO
