GT3 sway bar questions (996TT)

Hi guys,

I have ordered both the front and back GT3 sway bars for my 2003 turbo and I hope you can give me some advice on the following:

Thanks to 996TT_Stevo for helping out so far.

- can I use GT2 bushes?
- is it possible to fit the front sway bar also?
- what settings shall I use for road use?
- I am using stock droplinks for now but would like to upgrade at some point. what should I buy?

thanks for any help!

Lee

You mean bushings? Which bushings are you reffering to, subframe, control arm?

I would run the rear sway bar on full stiff (Assuming it's adjustable), and the front on full soft, in fact I wouldnt put the front GT3 one on the car (if they fit).

Someone on here advised that running the gt3 bar on full stiff may contribute to breaking the drop links. I am running the stock drop links with the gt3 bar on the next to last stiffest. meaning 1 off of full stiff and have had no issues on several DE's. I'm sure full stiff does flatten out the lean even more though.

I have rear at 1 hole off full stiff and the fron at 1 hole off full loose. Use ScarGo curved front drop link. I get a little clanking going over speed bumps at slow speeds.

End Links

Vivid racing (board sponsor) also offers quality end links.
The Agency power rear end links are the most massive I have seen.
Billet aluminum, heim joint and fair price...I have a pair on the H&R 24mm
rear sway and very satisfied.

I have mine set in the middle for both front and back. The clearance with the drop links is tight on full compression if you want to put in stronger ones so installation and adjustments are key. My installer spent a few hours getting it right.
