They blew it with the GT-R just like they blew it when they built the "350Z". I don't know who is designing Nissan's cars, but I'm clearly NOT their target audience these days.

You should read the Evo article on the GT-R...designer used "Robots, Spaceships and fish"...or some crazy combo as inspiration for the design. Looks more like to me a mix of a Konnisegg CXR and a kotex box....to each his own. Supposed to go like the clappers, so I shouldn't throw stones...but then again so did the Consulier GTP...Barf!

Get a Viper ACR and be done with it, or an 07 Z06 and slap Moton's on it. ZR1 is weak, and the GTR is a pig, both don't excite me and exceed the basics to having a DIRECT AND FUN DRIVER'S CAR!

You already have a PTT. Why settle for a clone? Plus there is no way GTR will hang with a ZR1.

I say at least the Vette is it's own car.

The ZR1 is the top dog Corvette and the GT-R will be at the bottom of the totem pole soon enough. Nissan will undoubtedly put out some hopped up versions of it. I was thinking of ordering a GT-R as a DD, but I know I'll just get pissed off when the Spec-V or V-Spec or whatever is announced.

So, I vote ZR1. And if you find anyone willing to sell at MSRP, shoot me a PM.

At MSRP, the GT-R, but none of them are going for anywhere close to MSRP right now. If it was price independent, the ZR1.

Until it has a chance to be driven here in this country, on a closed course, in the hands of normal guys and gals, It ain't killing anything except bandwidth... And don't think for a second that it'll kill most of the 996 turbos running around this board, and some modded Z06s...

No, the GTR is not a "killing" machine. It's another attempt to build a porsche slayer...
