Caddy Kill
Caddy Kill
I realize this is not really a fair fight but the opportunity presented itself....
coming home late from work tonight- this shiny new Caddy XLR comes zipping past me a double the speed limit- still has the dealer plates on.
caught up to him at a left turn stop light that then winds through a nice twist- curvy canyon.
He took off fast and I let him jump ahead just to make it interesting. Once I hit 1.2 bar in 3rd however, it was all over- he just kept getting smaller and smaller in my rear view mirror

Now THAT is an M5 killer right there.

I ran a xlr-v from a 60 mph punch, I was on I-10 and the guy kept buging me so we went, they are not very fast...LOL.... I think he was shocked, but when I slowed back to legal speed he did give a thumbs up as he drove by.
Straight line an XLR-V will give a stock TT a good run for its money but running 1.2 bar in third is not stock.
It is all fun... When I had my 964 C2, a kid in a Honda Car was egging me on by wingin' his throttle at a stop light. I smoked him and at the next light he manually rolled down his window as I lowered mine with my switch, and he started to say something. I stopped him in mid sentence and quoted "It's kinda' like bringing a knife to a gun fight, huh". My passenger (my youngest son) busted up as light turned green and we sped away, god that felt good. With my 996tt I get the same thing from the faster cars around town...
