Smile why does this happen??

hi there

i was in my 4s today and when i stoped the car and went to get some tea i heard this fan working and for a sec. i thought that i left the car running

what was that noise? i see a fan on the engine lid!!! why does it do that?? to keep it cool??

btw the weather was 42c or so so it was HOT

There is a small German gnome that lives in the engine compartment. When he feels that the engine compartment is getting too hot he jumps on a treadmill that is hooked to the engine compartment fan.


Seriously... there is a temperature sensor in the engine compartment and the fan is powered off the cars battery.
