my first problem

the bumper on the tt scrapes on almost every driveway and bump.

im planning on lowering the car putting 19's and getting the techart type II front bumper

how much more rubbing will there be?

have any of you who have the bumper have this problem?

thanks

Learn to drive it

It's a pretty low car, you've gotta learn patience and not just hammer into driveways etc. Hit things at an angle. My front spoiler is about 3-4" off the ground, I never have a problem (it use to be lower and even then it wasn't a worry). I can get into almost any driveway. Only time I ever have problems is getting hung up in the middle. You've just gotta learn patience and how to drive a low car, esp. if you want to lower it more and put the Type II bumper.

and I can't believe you didn't wax it yourself

The techart is MUCH lower than the stock chin...then add 19's and PSS-9's and man are you in trouble... As said above...ANGLE and SLOW... When I had my techart with the carbon lip I was only 2.5" off the ground... I managed to only scrape once (bad enough to crack it)...I too all driveways slow and parallel if I had to.

Soon 2 Be - i got it from the dealer without a wash, and i didnt want to mess up ANYTHING ... i promise to wax it myself next time

i scraped one time (very slowly), and that was just to see what i was dealiung with and what the limits were... trust me im very patient with the car ... ive even controlled myself to not go over 4000 rpm in 60 miles, and thats a lot for me ... i cant beleive ive lasted this long already ... hopefully i can control myself to go for the full 1000 miles

RUF is planning on interducing a variable height suspension. As I understand it, you just flick a button and the car raises up and flick the same button and it lowers its self just like a Cayenne. I don't know if he interduced it yet but last time he was here he said that it will be available shortly.

OKHLOON190,
we'll talk in detail, but it's not a good sign if u scrapes now in stock suv mode. my car is lowered but i don't touch anything with i drive. it's true angle is ur best friend. also backing off the car when needed!

get used to it before the Techart!
