Is europipe worth the money?

I just ordered the europipe stage II loud and am having some buyers remorse about the whole thing. Do you guys really think it is worth $5k or is there a better way of spending the money? I wanted a much cheaper FVD one, but my dad insisted on blowin money for this one. He heard the videos of all the exhausts and liked europipe a lot. I just realized I could have bought a nice set of rims or part of a techart body kit. Dan.

The cost of the EP has been worth it for me.

The EP site video doesn't do the sound any justice at all.

maybe, but i've never seen any data that would suggest the EP makes more power, the fabspeed is definitely lighter, and imho the fabspeed sounds very good. So while in general i agree that you get what you pay for, in this case i don't see it. The only justification i can see for the extra dough is if you just don't like the sound of the fabspeed , which of course is a personal taste issue.

Of course the above comments only apply to the turboed cars...for your GT3 it may be a whole different ballgame

Two major considerations you may be overlooking are Build quality...Fabspeed or others don't even come close...Lack of droning resonance...May not be a concern for some, but on long drives on the highway, droning can become quite fatiguing...

i'm not quite sure what build quality means in this case. neither exhaust is ever going to fail in any way. the europipe is a bit prettier i suppose but who cares?

As far as resonance, that is definitely a consideration. I have never heard the EP in person so i don't know how little it has. The fabspeed sport pipe has a bit, but not very much. if there was a magic kit that guaranteed the fabspeed would have no resonance and it cost $2500 i would not buy it.

Expandable baffles between the two mufflers, quality of construction, and warranty.

Fabspeed here and seems to be a good product so far, Cargraphics exhaust would be the next choice I think.

I am so smitten by my Europipe. I actually look forward in anxious anticipation to the times I start my car cold. The cold start sound is literally to die for. I am not kidding. It is not the Honda fart can sound at all. It is an exotic sound that is all its own. It is a sound that is so intoxicating and mature and amazing that words cannot describe it!!
It is one of my most valued and treasured purchases for this car.

You will see.
