modified k24 questions

Because of underhood space restriction I have to stay with the stock turbo housings, my Mercedes V12 TT comes stock with K24's I contacted Todd at Protomotive about the k24/18g upgrade, but after researching more I noticed there is a k24/20g and also a k24/26 Can you guys educate me on who makes the largest compressor and turbine wheels to fit into the stock housings. I need the biggest and baddest modified K24's made. Thanks guys.

Talk to EPL, Proto or Vivid. Any of them can get any of those options built for you. They will lag quite a bit more than the K24/18gs and require some serious fueling (and possibly internals) to support that hp.

thanks for your response, I dont mind a little lag as the current turbos hit extremely hard down low and it spins thru second with the TQ i have, on stock turbos at 1.27bar im making 750rwtq at 3Krpm but she falls flat up top

K24madness is infamous around these parts
The different compressors (ie 18g, 20g, 26g) support different boost and airflow levels. The higher the boost levels the higher the airflow. Higher airflow equals more HP. Bringing you back to earth if you don't have a built motor with rods etc stick with the K24/18g's. Great boost response and you will love the topend pull!!!!

Only one way to find out how strong the bottom end and block are right Im aware that this may be overkill, but i think the motor can handle 800hp and im only pushing about 650+ right now.

Despite some real good feedback from this forum on the K24/18G's it seems you already made up your mind.
