i like edgy looking cars. cars that stand out. z06 is too common. well so are porsches but looks wise. i rank GT-R, z06, porsche. but i willl take a GT2 or GT3. but not over the GT-R. just to add to the stable. hell ill take a z06 as well. ill take them all.
Better get that acting career of yours off the ground in a hurry to afford that kind of stable. Good luck in Hollywood man. Dreamers! Gotta love it.

Believe me, we will see something big coming from Porsche because of this kid.
couldnt post a production GT-R? fast on the street and especially track. can use everyday
this isnt the production EVO
the ACR is a beast but cant live with it every day being that its a track bred monster and isnt in the same league of the base GT-R
dated, dont like the rims, red color or black hood paint scheme. this looks says "mid life crisis" sorryAs for the ZO6 being dated, it is probably the pinnacle of engine developement for chevy and probably the best vette ever made before the zr1 comes out. Honestly it is an Icon and I would pick it hands down over the GTR. They are not in the same league for sure.
Isn't in the same league as the GTR? you are correct it is leagues above it.

im happy for you. the ACR is leagues above the base GT-R as it should be "on the track." but how about compare it to the up and coming Vspec.
you sound like one thats upset with the GT-R personally. its not that serious man
and i dont disagreee with the great part of the z06 being its motor. what other v8 is producing the hp and tq the LS is along witht he great gas mileage-there isnt one

Well since you asked.
There is some debate on the GT-R that ran the ring, and since the Top Gear car was also supplied by Nissan, that puts it in question to me as well.
When the vid of the ZR-1 came out I went an played it with the GT-R simultaneously together to see the differences in the cars. Just a habit from analuzing data. Well what I found was that the 620+ hp ZR-1 did not pull the GT-R on ANY straights at all. It got all of it's time at the beginning of the lap and they cornered pretty much at the same speeds.
Well then I played it with the Z06 Video from sport auto, and the GT-R left it on the back straight. Well as you can see from the video posted earlier in this section, the Z06, not to mention ZR-1 puts buslengths on a GT-R in a straight line, so even with faster exit speed, the GT-R would have gotten walked, and it did not have a faster exit speed than the ZR-1.
(Garage 419 put a video on youtube, from my observations, there is also a video of the ZR-1, Zonda and GT-R on the backstraight simultaneously)
well not even the Zonda could pull more than 1 second from about 104-107 -185 where GT-R has fallen flat and gotten walked by the 997 TT, Z06, GT2, ACR you name it up to 179-185, and walked by up to 7-8 seconds in a 0-150 when the GT-R has faster 0-60's.
Well you do the math. A faster 0-60 car that in turns gets left by 7 seconds to 150 and going all the way to 170 would be left by a mile, yet this does not happen with a 620 3300 lb ZR-1 and a 600 hp 2700 lb Zonda and it goes faster than the Z06.
Fact is that the "ring" GT-R had mush more power, it would need somewhere around 700-750 to keep up with those cars at those speeds.
I dont think any more proof is needed, no fanboys can address the situation despite the perfect timing of the street race where the GT-R gets abused, even from a dig with launch control by a base Z06, yet the ring car (top gear, evo, road and track cars) can run with 600 hp cars with 500 and over 1000 less lbs even with it's aweful high speed gear ratios.
Also from a GT-R owner who's car has broken (tranny = 18k to replace, and his was import, so no warranty), Nissan is covering up the significant number of tranny failures so it doesnt affect worldwide sales. And they are failing with stock power, mod it and it will brake, and you'll be paying 18k to fix it, and 6k in parts alone for the brakes.
THE BRAKE JOB WILL COST OVER 7K OTD!!!!!!!!! on a fat car. And you have to replace everything, not just pads, not just rotors. Sounds like fun huh, a 70k Nissan with the maintenance cost of a Ferrari???
