Clutch pedal problem

Ok I have a clutch pedal problem which developed this morning. When I depress my pedal it feels little bit "rough" towards the bottom of travel and it also makes a squeaking noise. Clutch works fine. It feels to me its pedal related as I can feel this roughness through the ball of my foot. As the whole system is hydraulic is there a spring or anything there which needs lubricating? Or is it a cylinder (slave) underneath there that could have gone bad? Thanks.

I have the same issue and will be repalcing the accumulator. I don't think this will address the squeaking noise. I'll let you know on Saturday.

Must be the colour of our cars... ...

I am taking it to the workshop for a check up tomorrow. How much is the accumulator your end?

Yes it was the accumulator.

For me, it just really sounds like a squeeking spring. It doesn't feel very rough.

It starts already at the top, continues through the middle and then it makes a lot of noise the last 30% of the pedal travel (going towards the floor).

How can I get a feel for if this is the accumulator or something else?

The noise has been getting a little worse, but the clutch is working rock solid.
