The only potential issue I see here is that you will be sucking warm/hot air from the engine bay primarily. The nice thing about the TT airbox is it takes cold (ambient) air from outside and directs it into the engine. I would check your inlet manifold temps to see if they are significant. You can always put a water injection system in to counteract the effect.

I did an hour driving and everything seems ok...I do not think that i will such hot air...fabspeed has the same design and i ve seen a 9ff car with tthe same setup rated at 600hp...so there are no MAF issues(consider that my car is a k24/18g with injectors, rated at 550awhp) and everything else i tried had blown mafs...Now i will consider a way to put t the 2nd snorkel and to do something to avoid hot air during the summer hot days...By the way the car reached 0,05boost higher and it seems faster as revs go up...

Do you soap the filter before use to remove the superfluous oil....read that here. I love you bolt holder gizmo....pictures and stuff...what did you use? Fabspeed puts a "rain gutter" up at the top edge. I suspect they must have had a reason to do so....

Any seat dyno sense of things?

I am sure you are correct, especially if it has been done before as you say. But I would still like to see those temps to confirm if it were me.

I ve datalogged IAT last week as i was trying to fine tune the car ...so when the weather reaches again last weeks temperature i will datalogg IAT again to see differences...as for the butt dyno, the car is set at 80% with 11gain on the Greddy and it reaches 1,37-1,40bar...the warning is set to 1,45 and it was the first time i reached the peak of 1,45...the car feels fastr above 3000rpm...however there is not a induction noise difference.Try it,it works...

Search on Dan at Vivid's airbox thread. He posted dyno data on teh fabspeed gadget. But, you cannot argue with the price...
