I am just curious to know the outcome between you, Sean and the super fast tip? Three of you guys rolled out but who came home being the fastest?

No one wanted to race me.My clutch slipped for the first time when we headed out,so Sean thought that I didn't want to put any more stress on it.After that the clutch seemed fine,I think it slipped because I didn't let it warm up, it was cool that morning & i had a boost spike(1.34 bar).I have not had a chance to get a good 60-130 with the cold weather yet,it's a pain in the *** trying to get Nicks timing box from Sean.

Karem's car is definitely quick.

As Wes mentioned, the benefit of Q16 vs C16 lies in the oxygenation and the requirement of more fuel to the combustion chamber. This helps to raise the effective octane above the 116 motor octane that it's advertised at(as opposed to C16's advertised 117 motor octane). Before I get "corrected", keep in mind that Motor Octane stays constant, while Research Octane is subjective, but I will almost always refer to the motor octane as it is a true number. Typically, I don't feed in anymore timing on Q16 over C16, but fueling adjustments are necessary. FWIW, C16 still smells better than Q16

Rob,

I already ran Paulie on full kill (C 16 and 1.5 bars ) and put about 5 lengths on him. At 1.2 bars, like I was running against Todd the other day I would have been competative against him. Paulie, the real world comparison is based on your car, a lighter GT2 6 speed (IE lighter car w/ less parasitic transmission power loss) being about as fast as Todds car.

My calculation is that the injectors in Todds car balances out the weight and transmission advantages of you car. I posit that your car, if you ever get off your lazy big toothed butt and get a good 60-130 time would run the same time as Todd (6.8 or so). My conclussion is that injectors would make your car significantly faster.

Of course I will not be sportsmanlike at all w/ you, I will be "Peter Blachlike" and not run you at 1.2 bars but full kill. Instead of losing by 5 lengths, you will only lose by 3

As usual Sean's self indulgent stories always seem flawed.First your car on full boost has not had a fair race with Tweety, the one race on the way back from Sealy went like this,Tweety got 3-4 cars off the jump stayed in front till I let off at which time Sean does a ricer fly bye, this is the funny part of the story when Sean view changes every time, for example the first time I heard him describe the fly bye it was 3 cars then the next time 4 cars ,well you guys get the idea.Sean's limited understanding of automobile mechanics is based on regurgitation of 6 speed posts, therefore, his statements have limited value.

Paulie,

I was way way ahead of you before you shut down. Fortunately, we have verified 60-130 times to refute your sort of nonsense. Oh wait, you don't have a time...a ha, I see. By not having a time you assume that you are able to indulge in your fantisies. Of course everyone knows that that is the true reason people don't get times.

But if you were willing to get a time, it would be around a 6.8 or so. The day we ran together you ran a 7.2. Admitedly, the conditions were absolutely horrible, and I only ran a 6.1. Nonetheless, that is over a second faster. The calculations have already been done, but let me refresh you memory: Each .2 seconds equals about a car length, a full second equals 5 lengths.

That is the beauty of verified times, it allows people to compare their cars from around the world and and puts to rest silly fantasies from the Walnuts of the world

How many sub 6 60-130 have you run? I have not had the chance to run a 60-130 time with the same weather conds. as you, therefore,we do not have comparable times.I think you should get some more sub 6 runs so we can verify the cars ability, not a freak run.Todd seemed to be ahead of you on numerous occasions when you guys were running,as Peter and I were behind you guys on every run,one time I thought i was going to run into the back of you,I had to let off to advoid smacking your back side.
I do have to give credit when credit is due, your car should be faster thats the bottom line. The problem seems to be the driver mod. example would be like the lessons I had to give you on the kart track, remind me how many times did I pass you?

My Dear, Dear Rabbit-toothed Walnut,

This is a discussion of injectors and 996TT/GT2's. It is not about go-carts, tiddlywinks, badmitten (which admitedly you are probably good at) or even more important pursuits like academics, martial arts, bodybuilding or laying hot chicks (all areas in which I excell).

As far as sub 6 second runs, here is all that matters:

4.62 - Markski / RWD / 2 shifts
4.67 - Divexxtreme / RWD / 2 shifts

Oh and BTW...yes, Todds car was running me even: I was anticipating that he was running a 7.2 (and not brake boosting, that tricky devil...we have since seen that his car runs a 6.8). Since my car ran a 7.1 at 1.1 bars, I figured that running 1.2 bars would make for a competative race (I know I am sportsmanlike, I difficult concept for some to understand).

Remember, my car makes 35 more hp for each .1 bar. Your car would be competative w/ mine at 1.2 bars but spanked hard if I ran 1.5. And of course I am not willing to be a gentleman w/ you since it is a completely foreign concept for "Paulies World".

You get that boost gauge yet? Remember the dash told me it was 1.5bar even at 25psi (1.7bar) and that wasn't just a huge spike, it stayed at 24.5 sustained or so. A real boost gauge (or even a more modern EBC) will tell you your actual boost. Hell my dash says .2 bar before the car even sees 1 true lb of boost on the EBC. Just food for thought.
