Motor mount question

I replaced my front tranny mount which was bad but still have a clank when I get on it hard and when I shift or let off the throttle I still hear a clank and didn't know if the rear mounts could be at fault?

Is this not uncommon? Are the rear mounts as straight forward to change as they look?

WEVO motor mounts have been used by many here with great success!

Engine mounts are cake to swap, put a jack with a black of wood under the engine, put weight on the jack, swap mounts. If it takes you more than an hour I would be surprised.

X73's are good, RS even better, WEVO's would probably be next step up.

replaced both mounts including the tranny and still getting the noise upon shifting or unloading car after full throttle?! I can launch as hard as I want and no noise but as soon as I shift or let off "clank"!! I'm getting frustrated. Is there something I'm missing? Is there a suspension piece in the rear that can cause the sound under just these circumstan es?

Check all of your CV joints and boots? Make sure you have no ripped boots or grease leaking anywhere. Check all your ball joints?

Also check the suspension bolts and the control arm and dog bone bolts. I'd also check the front diff mount. Several have had failures on that part as well.

The CV joints wear and make a clacking sound with on-off driveline play. Very inexpensive fix.
