While I do agree that all of these guys can really drive, Button has never been all that bad, just never a winner, though he didn't make tons of mistakes which is why he's still around. Although was that him or Webber that Scott Speed outdrove before getting the boot. Either way, I know Scott Speed has to be sick right now because both of those guys have great cars now and I think he was better than both of them. He just had the worst car ever.

993Turboluvr is infamous around these parts
Whats the big deal? Im a 911 fan and im actually impressed by the GTR a bit. My friend brought one to a meet in Miami and the thing really moves even at 4000 pounds. I would not take it over a 911TT (specially a 993TT ) but the car is impressive. What i like to see is when people either put up or shut up. I think my friends are going to track their 996 tt and GTR at sebring for the next Chin motorsports event. I think they have a little bet going. ill film it and post it for fun when they go at it.

I deleted that post because the GTR given to the Aussie Top Gear to test was speed limited to 110mph (they discuss this in the last 5sec of the clip - I posted before I watched all the way through). Althouugh there were few parts on that track where such a speed could be reached, due to the limiter there could be no "true" test. I want to be fair after all.

fair enough, one good straight away. Probably a second off. I did not realize that cars down under were limited like that or is it just Nissan dpoing that?

in japan don't they use gps location to limit speed? Once the car leaves the country, you would think that would be disabled.

Jimmer, I see why you deleted it. Why even post a comparison test of a handicapped GTR, that is retarded. Is that show even still on, they're not even funny

it is not gps location... it's just an integrated function. and in japan there are certain positions that just allow it to be disabled manually.

(it sounds like you knew that already)

but there have been gt-r's shipped out of country that still had the limiter on. perhaps there was an option for the limiter to be disabled, but it is not an automatic function. fortunately, i have a usdm gt-r, and am unable to comment any further.

Speaking of Top Gear, I heard a rumor that Susan Boyle is the Stig. They are about the same height and both love classical music.

Nope, it is Ms. Jackie Stewart

For those that dont understand the Ms. Jackie Stewart comment, please watch Top Gear episode where James May (aka Capt Slow) was tutored on the art of driving fast. No disrespect was intended for this racing legend.

My understanding is that most all GTR's outside of the US have a speed limiter on them. I could be wrong, but that is how I understand it.

Might be over rated but at least those two score more than 0 points in their F1 career. LOL
