F--King Boost tube blew off again today!
Hauling *** on the 101 today, I blew a boost tube off when I was making 1.1 bar on my way to work. So I had to get out of the car in an Italian suit and reconnect that bastard so I could make it to work driving like a grandma and making no boost so it wouldnt blow off again. I have some stronger hose clamps that are on order, anyone have any other suggestions to remedy this situation... Im sure many of us have had this problem, it can be quite annoying when it happens at the wrong time.

Any pics of what this is or what happened?
I've never experienced this, but want to be prepared.

Especially with boosted cars, the stock tubing is often not up to the task. Usually the f diverter hose splits (oiften during diverter valve install) and you get a leak. My boost dropped down to 0.7 bar! The new hoses are much stonger.

Scott: When you double the boost from 0.6 bar (stock) to 1.2 bar and are running around 200 more whp, tubes designed to only withstand 0.6 bar tend to get irritated and pop off the turbos or intercoolers from tiem to time.
$3500 for boost tubes. That is the biggest freakin ripoff I have ever heard of. Give me a break.
That is about as stupid as that dumb *** GruppeM intake in carbon fiber crap. lol.
So... I just went and shmoozed my Service Manager at my dealership so I can use one of the lifts and tools to reattach my non-$3500 tubes
