Won't be anytime soon. I bet I could only muster a 6.1 or 6.0 if that. The weather is in the 90's during the days and the high 70s during the nights. In the process of buying a house so my straight pipes are staying off the car (so the neighbors won't set fire to my house the first week) and I won't be buying race gas anytime for awhile because of it

Oh well... When it gets cold again I'll probably have some more little goodies

 

That's cool. Just bustin b*lls. I had what I'm pretty sure was a 6.1x run, but my coolant vent hose blew off...oh well. I'll fix it and try again before it gets too hot too...

One thing that was not posted was on my 6.3 pass that I made that night I was actually .1 or .2 faster in my 60-100 than on my 6.2 pass. I shifted to slow into 4th and fell out of boost. Plus that pass was my 3rd real hard pass on the car without letting it cool down LOL. Oh well... **** happens LOL!

 

Yeah, I've learned that shifting is HUGE and usually my first run is the best run. I also made a habit of recording my 50-70. So far my best is a 1.25.

Sean should beat me, but with street racing you never know what can happen. My weekend project for next weekend is new coils and plugs. I will be back and running gimped out with my exhaust on after that. I just can't see paying $500 for two straight pipes for my Switzer.

 

isnt that the truth, you never know. The runs sometimes mislead. At T2k9, I snapped a shift linkage. Put it in the air and discovered that I had been running 1/4 boost. Car still performed well despite boost leak.

500 for straight pipes? sh*t!

I trapped 135 w/ my old hybrid GT 28's. My car made 100 hp less (and when I dynoed my new set up I did it impromptu...Tommy called me up unexpectedly and I was on pump and Sunoco 114). I also was a full second slower in the 60-130. So yes, I am not exagerating to claim a 140 trap speed.

But tell you what, you trapped 137 so lets just run our cars. How does $500 sound?

 

We know your car is quick. Betting money? I dont know. Its about the fun, not the money. Oh by the way isnt it time you update the Britax. We have 4 now, 3 in Houston and 1 in Ohio. This is all for one child.
