Radiator bleed Help!
Replaced the center radiator and have looked and found I need the radkitplusa from snapon to bleed the system and wondering if anyone can help this moron (me) figure out how to hook it up etc..
You may not need it. How much coolant did you loose when you changed the rad. When I did my GT2 nose/rad conversion all I did was jack the car up at the back and let it bleed by itself.
You may still get a pressure lock and pop a hose but I think you might be OK. Jack the car up as high as possible at the back and then run the car. You will be OK unless you lost tons of coolant in the change.

Yes, you stick the rubber end into the expansion tank and tighten it down with the steel ring. Create the vaccum and one clear plastic hose goes in the large bucket of your new coolant mix and the other clear hose goes into another bucket for over flow... you will figure it out. Create a 20-25 PSI vaccum and your done. Use the Audi coolant, it's cheaper than the P-car stuff and the same spec.

Yup you need a large compressor to create the vaccum needed. I have done it many times using the snap-on tool.
